Founded in 1920 by Pierre Dubost and Marcelle Colas-Pradel, the first catalogue of the «Manufacture of general cutlery» was published in the early 1950s. The phone number to reach our workshops was then the number «1» quite simply!
The sales log of this time, allows us to see that our kitchen knives and table cutlery were already on sale in famous department stores in Paris such as Galeries Lafayette, BHV, Printemps … A beautiful recognition of our know-how, which allows the activity to proudly resume during this difficult post-war period.
To know all about the history, know-how and passion of the Jean Dubost cutlery, you can consult here the book published for the centenary of the company. Enjoy your reading!
